You will experience favoritism after me
Usayd ibn Hudayr and Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with both of them) reported: A man from the Ansār said: "O Messenger of Allah, will you not appoint me as you appointed so-and-so?" He replied:
"You will experience favoritism after me, so have patience until you meet me at the Basin."
