Avoiding Negative Assumptions

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Beware of negative assumption, for negative assumption is the falsest of speech." [Bukhari and Muslim].
